Composite Video/S-Video to to Full HD Scaler Box

We would like to introduce another scaler box which we have recently added to our range of products. The Composite Video/S-Video to to Full HD Scaler Box is designed to upscale an analog video signal (Composite Video or S-Video), to a High Definition HDMI output. It is a simple, no-fuss and cost effective solution to upscale analog video content to High Definition output – up to 1080p.

The unit is perfect for those who are after a simple way to view their Composite Video or S-Video sources on their HDTV with better image quality. eg, You may have a Standard Definition DVD Player or Set-Top box that you connect to your HDTV via a Composite Video cable, but would like to connect it via HDMI cable. Using this unit will allow you to improve the output resolution for display on your TV, leading to better image quality. It recognises Video systems of PAL and NTSC for conversion to Digital High Definition 480p, 576p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p (dependant on display used).

In comparison to our other 1080p scaler boxes, such as our ID#613 and ID#498, this unit is an entry range model which handles video upscaling without the bells and whistles of some of the other scalers. For example this scaler outputs the audio via HDMI, compared to our ID#613 scaler which has additional optical audio output options (TOSlink). The Composite Video/S-Video to to Full HD Scaler Box is operated through the front panel display on the unit, with no remote control necessary. Making the unit even easier to use is the automatic resolution selection option which auto detects the connected display's native resolution, and sets the output resolution accordingly.
