HDMI v1.3 Signal Repeater 1 input : 1 output w/ Audio Decoder is used in long distance High Definition transmission paths. With support for digital video formats in Deep Colour Mode from 25MHz to 225MHz for 36 bits (12bits/colour), this unit also supports Audio streams of uncompressed digital LPCM 2 channel, 7.1 & 5.1 Surround and compressed digital bitstreams Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus & DTS-HD Master Audio.

Now you can have true digital audio sound delivered over the HDMI cable along with the HD video signal. If you wish to break out the Audio to an Audio Amplifier system, then you may do so using Optical TOSlink or LPCM output ports. Enjoy the digital audio side of the HD video program you are watching, as much as the HD video itself. The Dolby digital 5.1 and LPCM 2 channels audio streams are output via the optical TOSlink port, while LPCM 7.1, 5.1 & 2 channels are output via multi-channel output ports.

Other features of the HDMI v1.3 Signal Repeater 1 input : 1 output w/ Audio Decoder include integrated HDCP encryption for transmission of protected video and audio content. This means that HDCP encrypted video will be supported by this device. The CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) function allows for future adaption with other CEC equipment to help simplify system management via remote controllers etc.
