The HDMI over CAT Cable Transmitter and Receiver set fully supports 6G 4K2K, 3D and DVI compliant devices with up to 3840*2160 YUV444 and Deep Colour 8, 10 and 12-bit output resolutions. The simultaneous transmission of uncompressed data over a single CAT5e/6/7 cable supports 1080p for a distance of 100m (328ft) and 4K2K up to 70m (230ft).
HDBaseT 5Play convergence is in-built to the HDMI over CAT Cable Transmitter and Receiver set and includes virtually zero-latency transmission of video and audio signals over CAT5e/6/7 cables. The 100Mbit Ethernet feature supports extension of "smart technology" devices across a network, while USB 2.0 connectivity extends KVM functions to remote sites for PC's.
Control and service functions are also catered for and include CEC, EDID, HDCP 2.2 & 1.4 protocols, RS-232 and Infra-red. For extreme remote sites, the HDMI over CAT Cable Transmitter and Receiver set is equipped with 48vPoH functionality, to provide 48vDC power to the receiver.
Support is given for all standard audio formats including Dolby Digital, DTS, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master audio. The in-built ARC (Audio Return Channel) function allows for transmission of audio signals from the remote end back to the control end. An audio insertion function also allows an external analog audio track to be added to the HDMI signal for transmission and replay.
