New HDMI 4k2k 1x2 SD-HD Scaler is a convenient one input, two output device for connection of 4k2k Ultra High Def (UHD) video signals into High Def (HD) video equipment for 'Scaled' viewing on HDMI screens. It also 'Bypasses' the 4k2k signal for connection to a 4k2k enabled monitor. With the advantage of being a SD/HD video Scaler, all selectable output resolutions are accessible by an On Screen Display (OSD) menu. You can even adjust the HDMI 4k2k 1x2 SD-HD Scaler's output settings for picture size and display quality to best match your TV. Compact, user friendly and perfect for expansion of any Home Theatre system.
Using the HDMI 4k2k 1x2 SD-HD Scaler allows your system to integrate easily with latest release 4k2k Technology. Any SD or HD HDMI display can be connected to the "Scaler" port and used with 4k2k sources. The on-board OSD menu allows the User to adjust the "Scaler" output signal for the best resolution, from VGA to WUXGA or 480i/p to 1080i/p, to best match your HDTV display. By connecting a 4k2k display to the HDMI 4k2k 1x2 SD-HD Scaler's "Bypass" port, you can monitor the 4k2k input signal, unchanged and at the same time.
Installation of the HDMI 4k2k 1x2 SD-HD Scaler is very easy, with all input and output ports clearly marked. On-board LED's confirm the status of connected power and 4k2k equipment on the 4k2k 'Bypass' port. OSD menu buttons allow for simple access, navigation and selection of display parameters for picture settings like contrast, brightness, colour and fine tuning. The size of the HDMI 4k2k 1x2 SD-HD Scaler's output image can also be changed between Full, Over/Underscan, Letter Box, Pan Scan and Best Fit. Standard "reset" feature also available to quickly clear settings.
