Send Composite Video or PC RGB signals along a single CAT5e/6/7 cable up to a distance of 100m without loss or degradation to the transmitted signal. At the remote end, the CV or PC line signal is upscaled to a selectable standard or high definition PAL or NTSC HDMI signal using a compatible HDBaseT Receiver, for easy HDMI cable connection to your HDTV.

With 5 Play Convergence functionality supporting HDMI Video and Audio, LAN/Ethernet support, System Control (IR & RS-232) and Power over Ethernet (PoE) remote end power-feed, the HDBaseT PC/CV to HDMI Scaler Format Converter over CAT5e/6/7 Transmitter (with 5 Play Convergence) is easy to instal, setup and operate. Audio support for uncompressed audio up to LPCM 7.1CH, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio.
Full support is given for all input PAL and NTSC composite video formats and standard VESA PC resolutions from VGA(640480) ~ WUXGA(19201200). Once the Composite video or PC signal is detected by the HDBaseT PC/CV to HDMI Scaler Format Converter over CAT5e/6/7 Transmitter (with 5 Play Convergence), the signal is encrypted and transmitted to the receiver end, where it is then re-formatted into an HDMI signal. The new HDMI signal can be output as a PAL or NTSC 480p, 576p, 720p, 1080i or 1080p signal for connection directly to your HDTV's HDMI input.

In cases where no Mains power is available at the remote end site, then the HDBaseT transmitter will power a compatible HDBaseT receiver using a pair of wires from the CAT5e/6/7 cable.
