Component HD Video To CV and SV SD Video
Component HD to Video Converter has been upgraded to now accept both progressive and interlaced Component video signals. It will accept from 480i/p, 576i/p, 720p and 1080i/p resolution. Ideal for operation with both old and new technology Component interlaced and progressive video, converting all to composite and super video output. It will accept both PAL (50Hz) and NTSC (60Hz) video format input and output format can be selected between PAL or NTSC.
The Component HD to Video Converter has an in-built Overscan and Underscan feature, allowing you to increase or decrese the output image to better fit your TV display area. The output video signal from the Converter is present on both the Composite and S-video connections, so can be used simultaneously. The input Component video signal is also "passed-thru" to a Component output on the Converter, so you can compare the 3 different output displays at the same time.
When converting Component video to CV or SV, you connect the Component red, green, blue cable from the source red, green, blue outputs to the converters red, green, blue input. The CV or SV video lead is connected from the CV or SV out of the Converter to the CV or SV in of your display TV. The Red & White audio leads are connected directly from the source player red & white audio out to the display TV red & white audio in.
Compact, lightweight design with siver aluminium casing, clearly marked and accessible input/output connections and power is supplied by an external 100-240vAC to +5vDC power supply. An LED lamp indicates power status of the Component HD to Video Converter at anytime and power consumption is <5.5w. Overscan/Underscan is selected using a slide switch mounted on the Converter, next to the PAL/NTSC output format select switch.
