Digital S/PDIF and TosLink Audio over single Cat5e/6 Transmitter and Receiver is designed to transmit Optical and Coaxial digital audio signals up to 150 meters using one CAT5e/6 cable.

Supports stereo and multichannel LPCM, 7.1, DTS, and Dolby Digital audio etc. via Digital TosLink cable (optical fibre) or Coaxial cable.

The source output medium is the same as the sink input medium i.e. Optical in = Optical out; Coaxial in = Coaxial out. Plug'n'Play functionality and simple, quick installation makes this unit ideal for Digital Audio transmission over long distances using CAT5e/6 cable. Maximum distance rating over CAT5e/6 cable is 150 metres.

The Digital S/PDIF and Toslink Audio over single Cat5e/6 Transmitter and Receiver units are sturdy, lightweight and compact in design allowing for easy installation near source and sink equipment.

Power is supplied from a standard 100-240vAC to 5vDC/1A adapter output. Power can also be supplied from PC USB port (5vDC). Only one 5vDC supply is required for operation of both units i.e. both ends use one power supply. Max power usage is 2 Watts.

Input and Output interfaces are standard connectors and are clearly identified for installation. All RJ45 connections are terminated using World standards.

Once all installed and operational, the Digital S/PDIF and TosLink Audio over single Cat5e/6 Transmitter and Receiver will give trouble free transmission of digital audiosignals.
