Open Frame Touchscreen LCD Monitors (CGA EGA VGA Function) Coming Soon
LCD touchscreen monitors are coming soon to Converters.tv. Our new range of CGA EGA VGA touch screen monitors have numerous applications in entertainment, industrial, commercial and recreational settings. Touchscreen LCD monitors allow the user to control the computer by touching the screen, rather than through using a mouse. It is an intuitive, rapid and accurate means to control your equipment/computer system.
Examples of use can include retro-fit of CNC machinery, gaming machines, arcade machines, or other industrial equipment. Unlike many other touch screens on the market, our new touchscreens can accept a full range of CGA, EGA and VGA signals, making it a great choice to update old and superseded monitors with the latest in touch technology.
Previously for example, if you had equipment which had CGA output and you wanted to update to a touchscreen, your choices would have been quite limited and you may have required an additional converter to interface your older style equipment with a new touchscreen. This touchscreen is easy to install and operate with such equipment, with the accompanying software and drivers available for a range of platforms.
Software and drivers for the LCD touch screen are available for a range of legacy platforms including DOS, Windows 3.1, Windows NT 3.5, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 95, and various MAC OS versions. Continued support for more recent platforms is also available, including MAC OSX, Windows XP, Windows Server 03/08, Vista and Windows 7.
Touch screens are ideal for use in public spaces, where using a keyboard/mouse could result in the equipment getting stolen or damaged, or where keyboard/mouse use is otherwise impractical. Our Industrial style open frame touch screen monitors can easily be built into custom cases so that only the screen can be seen. Examples include use in jukeboxes, information displays, kiosk systems, point of sale systems, and educational purposes.
