The HDBaseT HDMI over CAT5e/6 Transmitter & Receiver with dual PoE is ideal for use with CAT5e/6/7 cable and is designed to transmit and receive an un-compressed HDMI HD and UHD video and audio stream over a long transmission distance of up to 100 meters (382 ft). This is achieved with no loss or degradation to the HDMI signal strength or quality.

In situations involving large industrial and commercial type buildings, where it may be necessary to provide some form of HDMI video display or signage, or to facilitate intermediate access points for interfacing with PC's for LAN based functionality, then the HDBaseT HDMI over CAT5e/6 Transmitter & Receiver with dual PoE will provide faultless connectivity.

This all-in-one HDMI transmission system operates over a CAT5e/6/7 cable pair and supports a video bandwidth of up to 300MHz, or 9Gbps, and handles Ethernet speeds of up to 100Mbps. Full support is given for SD, HD and UHD video, from 480i/p through to UHD 4K2K and PC timings from VGA through to WUXGA. 3D video is also supported when using a 3D video source and a 3D HDTV. Audio support is for uncompressed Audio up to 7.1CH, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD Master Audio.

Not only will the HDBaseT HDMI over CAT5e/6 Transmitter & Receiver with dual PoE help overcome problems encountered with the quality and reliability of video and audio signals when transmitted over long cable distances, it also incorporates built-in control functions to assist with the operation and overall performance of long-haul transmission systems. Bi-directional IR (Infra-Red) and PC based RS-232 commands give support for simplified, easy access and control of all external and internal functions.

Installation of the HDBaseT HDMI over CAT5e/6 Transmitter & Receiver with dual PoE is very simple and based on world recognised VESA standards. A huge bonus for this system is the Dual Power over Ethernet (PoE) power-feeding arrangement that supports installation of either of the units into an unpowered and/or remote location. Only one 24vDC PSU is required to power both ends of the system, which can be a big saving on time and costs.
