4 by 4 HDMI v1.3 to CAT 6 Matrix

HDMI transmission over CAT6 cable has become a lot easier with the introduction of the 4 by 4 HDMI v1.3 to CAT6 Matrix. Designed to allow any one (or all) of four video source signals to be transferred and displayed on any one (or all) of four target HDTV's. The source signal can be picked up over a distance of 15 meters, with the CAT6 distance extending out up to 45 meters. Simple front panel buttons, or a hand held remote control allows for easy selection of the source video to be displayed on the desired target HDTV.

The 4 by 4 HDMI v1.3 to CAT6 Matrix supports the transfer of Deep Colour (10bits/colour) video and new lossless compressed digital audio (Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD Master Audio).

Input to the 4 by 4 HDMI v1.3 to CAT6 Matrix is by four standard A Type HDMI female ports, while the output side has four pairs of RJ45 female ports. Each output pair consists of one CAT6 Video and one CAT6 DDC transmission cable ports. On the receiving end of each CAT6 Video and CAT6 DDC cable, you place an ID#749, "CAT6 to HDMI Receiver" unit. From the output of the CAT6 receiver unit, you connect by HDMI cable to your HDTV.

The 4 by 4 HDMI v1.3 to CAT6 Matrix allows you to display any one video source to all or selected HDTV's, while other video sources may be displayed simultaneously to the other HDTV's. This gives you up to 16 different connection scenarios. Ideal for displaying advertising in shopping malls or throughout stores, for managing lecture displays in Schools and Workshops, and even better for transmitting from your Home Theatre Centre to individual rooms around your house.
