2D to 3D Media Box

The 2D to 3D Media Box is designed to convert 2D progressive scan video to 3D Side-By-Side Half video for display on a 3D capable HDTV. Now 2D progressive scan video can be converted to and viewed as 3D Side-By-Side Half video by using the 2D to 3D Media Box between your 2D video source (DVD player, Game Console etc) and your 3D capable HDTV. Simply plug'n'play, select either Convert 3D SBSH or Bypass setting, select 3D strength Small, Middle or Large and start viewing.

Use your 3D capable HDTV to watch progressive scan 2D video in 3D Side-By-Side Half format. The 2D to 3D Media Box will accept progressive scan input resolutions and output resolutions of 480p@60Hz, 576p@50Hz, 720p@50/60/100/120Hz and 1080p@24/50/60Hz, all with 8bit colour depth and YUV/RGB 4:2:2 colour space.

Interlaced 2D video is not accepted for conversion to 3D Side-By-Side Half format. The 2D to 3D Media Box will bypass interlaced 2D 1080i video only and 3D resolutions of: Frame Packing 1080p@24/30/50/60Hz; Side By Side Half 1080p@50/60Hz, 1080i@50/60Hz, 720p@50/60Hz; and Top & Bottom 1080p@24/50/60Hz, 720p@50/60Hz.
